Who am I?
I am a passionate, hardworking individual who will do anything to learn, grow, and experience the world to the fullest. I also have no idea where I am going or where I want to be.
For me, there is no “9-5” option or a 5-year plan on where I want to be, because most simply put, I want to be everywhere.
I grew up in a small city in Ohio. It’s Ohio, so nothing spectacular there other than the terrible humidity and the surprisingly frigid winters. In fact, the greatest part of Ohio for me was growing up with (but mostly just enduring) my three incredible brothers. They have shown to be wonderful role models in their own individualistic ways, and have all taught me a great deal. My family is all highly educated and my two older brothers sought secondary education and further. My younger brother and I never found school as enlightening as they did. Not to the fact that we didn’t enjoy it of course. Learning is perhaps my favorite thing to do, but school is not my preferred place to do it.
Therefore, after graduating high-school, I promptly moved from small town Delaware, Ohio to Zurich, Switzerland in an attempt to further my own individual education through experiences and people rather than laptops and books. Since my initial move, I have lived in a dozen other places and most recently, have found myself in Chicago, Illinois.
I am the epitome of “do-it-yourself” and “you learn from your mistakes”; making me a very stubborn and hardheaded person (thanks, Dad), but it also makes me dedicated and motivated in all that I do. I have a lot of hobbies and interests and enjoy expressing them in my blogs.
